Love, love these two! From their Little Italy engagement session (which we shamefully haven’t even had time to blog yet) to their fabulous reception at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, we have had nothing but fun photographing these two! Happy families, bunches of friends and a sweet pair totally in love…makes for a great day at work.

I loved Anna and John’s Wedding. That should be all I have to say, and the images will tell the story, however… I can’t help but talk.

From the historic venue full of beautiful peacocks, to the abundance of mason jars tied with beautiful ribbons and stuffed with succulents and whimsical flower arrangements, to the sassiest purple shoes to the crowd of family and friends just beyond happy to see these to be married. It was wonderful fun and we were so honored to be a part of it.

Add to that a list of some of our favorite colleagues and it was a perfect day. Congratulations Anna and John!

Kimberley and Cory were married on a beautiful April weekend in Coronado. With all of their friends and family with them, they tied the knot beneath puffy white clouds and beautiful blue skies. As you may recall from their engagement session, Kimberley and Cory are full of love and smiles for each other.

As you know, we love our jobs. Beyond the joy of sharing in the happiest day of a couples’ life, we get to see fantastic parties, a quiet hug from an elderly relative, and as an added bonus at Kimberley and Cory’s wedding…one of the largest dogs on the face of the earth. You will see it below, and we weren’t the only ones who noticed him; you can see the family discussing him too.

In addition, the gorgeous grounds of the Coronado Marriott are populated with some very friendly ducks (little known fact about me…I have always wanted a duck as a pet and I just can’t understand why Justin won’t let me have one) but I digress, beautiful images of a perfect day for Kimberley and Cory’s nuptials below. Enjoy!

Spring is here and the Flower Fields in Carlsbad are in full bloom and gorgeous! A few years back Jennifer and Fermin travelled down from LA so we could have some engagement session fun at the colorful fields.

They don’t stay in bloom for long, so contact us soon if you would like to schedule an engagement, family or “just because” session.

Yep, that’s right, stop by your local store or news stand to grab a copy of Studio Duva’s debut as cover photographer for San Diego Style Weddings magazine! Last year Tricia landed a Quick Guide cover, but that was just a prelude to Justin’s full magazine cover image and 5-page fashion spread inside the magazine. OK, quite a few of the spread photos were Tricia’s, but Justin was definitely the winner in our ongoing competition!

And the best part…that at the magazine launch party, this cover was voted the Vendor’s Favorite.
