Adela and Vince are getting married this September at USD. And when Adela asked us if it would be OK to plan their engagement session for a place near and dear to her heart; her parents avocado orchard in Fallbrook, we jumped at the chance. Justin and I are always game for something new and we were so excited to spend a few hours romping around the amazing 30 acres of very steep hills filled with beautiful avocado trees.
Needless to say, Adela’s parents not only gave us free reign of the entire property, but offered the grounds for any other adventurous couples looking for a unique engagement session location, and sent us packing home after a gorgeous sunset with at least 30 avocados…YUM!
I’ll start with the image these two chose for their Save the Date postcards:

We met Jeanette at the Del Mar Bridal Bazaar last October when she won our Fashion Show Door Prize, a free engagement session and 8X10 print. If you’ve never been to the Fashion Show at the Bridal Bazaar, you are missing out on some fun fashion ideas, but that also means you haven’t seen how the models toss prizes into the crowd. Kudos to Jeanette for winning out in the mad rush for prizes; we sure think an engagement session is better than a foul ball!
These two, who are getting married in September, wanted to spend their session at the Light House in Point Loma. It was a blustery, cold day last month, but it made for some fun, dramatic photos. Enjoy!

Sophia and Nelson will be married this May at one of our favorite locations…the Wild Animal Park! We’re looking forward to spending more time with these two as we had so very much fun with them a few weeks ago when they were down from Northern California for a whirlwind weekend. We received the sweetest love note from them that I just have to share.
Dear Tricia and Justin – We want to thank you for an amazing engagement photosession experience. We had a wonderful time! Thank you for the snacks before the shoot; spending time with you two was rejuvenating. Thank you for the incredible turn around time on the photos, it was a special experience to see the shots in your studio! Thank you for all of the time and energy you have put into our pictures. Everybody loves the photos! You two are truly passionate about what you do and it shows in your beautiful work. Looking forward to seeing you soon! Love, Nelson and Sophia.
We can’t wait to see you both again in May!

Sophia took over the assistant role, working hard to get a smile out of Nelson!
