Alana and Sean are just back from their amazing honeymoon in Kauai and since they’re coming in for their viewing session tomorrow, we thought we would just whip up a few favorites onto the blog to hold them over until they’re here at the studio. We’ll really do this awesome couple and wedding justice later in the week with a full wedding post. In the meantime, enjoy…

We’ve known Maureen and Ed for four years now. We met them when we photographed the wedding of Maureen’s daughter (the lovely Stephanie and her handsome hubby Todd). Since then we’ve also captured the wedding day of Maureen’s best friend, and Ed’s proposal on the dance floor at that wedding. Needless to say, we were their first phone call once the date was set in stone of their “shabby chic mountain-country” wedding in their home town of Julian.
Ed and Maureen have the cutest love story (they met when Maureen bought her first motorcycle) and they were so lucky to have all of their children and grandchildren in the wedding (one daughter even came all the way from Japan with two kids and seven months pregnant!). It was a beautiful day and these two are so in love people were just thrilled to be their for them.
First, lots of fun details…

Lots of love…

This guy was a little scared to walk down the aisle.

Maureen walked down this great staircase where Ed met her, presented her bouquet and walked her down the aisle.

Stephanie and Todd, who found us and introduced us to their super fun family. Their 4-year anniversary is next month. Congrats kids!

Karen and Steve…it was their dancefloor where Ed popped the question!

Stacey and Josh are newly newlyweds, but they’re currently living thousands of miles apart. We’re so sad to see her go, but we’re happy these lovebirds will be living together when Stacey moves next month to join Josh in his new position at his company’s Georgia office. They were able to host a super-fun, San Diego wedding before making their cross-country move, and we were so happy to capture the fun for them.
Just a few of our favorites; Enjoy!

Josh is a golfing kind of guy, and Stacey wanted to be sure her entry was both unique and special to her man!

Palm trees are special to these two, so this ceremony location was the perfect place for them to tie the knot.

And the cake…

Got mean, and fast!

Sara and Soheil met while they were both attending UCSD, so of course, what better place for an afternoon engagement session than the scene of the crime? We even went to the coffee shop where they had their very first date. From there, it was off to the beach, and just a few minutes with Soheil’s baby, his beautiful black BMW.
They had quite a day getting ready for our shoot as they brought Sara’s car down from LA (where they live now) and decided to take a “quick” four-hour round trip back home to collect Soheil’s pride and joy (besides Sara, of course). We are really looking forward to their wedding next month, as it’s our first visit to the beautiful Crosby in Rancho Santa Fe.
Just a few of our favorites; Enjoy!

Stacey an Josh were married just a few days ago, and before we share some of their wedding photos, we just have to share some of their engagement photos. (Shows how behind we are on blogging all of the fun stuff we’ve been up to lately!)
Since this pair loves each other, their dogs and palm trees, they decided Mission Bay Park was the perfect place for their engagement photo session.
Just a few of our favorites; Enjoy!
